Randy Bowen is starting his 5th year here at Stringtown Schools. He teaches 7th-12^th social studies. He retired 5 years ago after coaching H.S. Baseball for 32 years.

He is married to his beautiful wife, Stephanie, who teaches 7-12 science, and they have 3 grown sons: Ryan, Adam, and Zane. We have 2 grandsons l, Zayden, and Grayor.

He enjoys getting to concentrate solely on teaching after being a coach for 32 years. He likes the classroom and the interaction with his students. “Being around the students motivates me and helps me feel young.”

He enjoys hunting and fishing and rides on his Polaris Ranger. He is also a Basketball official, which he really enjoys and has done since 1981. He also enjoys getting to see his grandsons, his sons, and daughters-in-law and he and his wife watch as many of our oldest son Ryan's games as they can. Ryan is the Head Baseball Coach at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma. He really thankful for the opportunity he has to teach at Stringtown.
